期刊介紹:
The aim of this journal is to further the scientific investigation of venous disease by publishing the results of research and experience of those with a particular interest in the subject. Its aim is to promote research into the problems of management that patients with venous diseases present to physicians and surgeons. Phlebology is the only English language journal devoted entirely to venous disease. It provides a means by which investigators from many disciplines may present their research in a field that has remained poorly understood for hundreds of years. Papers will be published after peer review and will be read by an international audience of physicians and scientists as well as those with a commercial stake in phlebology. Authors will expose their work to experts in the field in a readership drawn from many countries. Readers will gain from the knowledge and expertise of those who feel that venous diseases deserve to be more completely elucidated. The publishers aim to promote scientific excellence in a field where in the past much has been obscured by dogma and prejudice. The widest dissemination of knowledge will be ensured by the incorporation of papers in international referencing systems. Phlebology includes contributions on all aspects of venous disease. The articles published in this journal include not only clinical studies but those from basic scientists technologists and pathologists. It aims to provide a platform for the collected knowledge experience and research of those who feel that they have a scientifically sound addition to be made to the knowledge in this field. The scope of this journal allows a detailed consideration of current issues in phlebology.
